The Lacey Armchair is a beautiful chair featuring exposed wood legs that are hand carved in a barley twist design.  The styling of this chair dates back to the early 17th century during the time of Louis XIII and Charles II.  The tightly upholstered seat and back are separated by an opening with exposed wood back posts.  The beautifully carved arm widens into a lovely grooved spiral carving as it flows from the inside back to the front of the chair.
